On March 9, 2025, the Liberal Party elected Mark Carney as their new leader, hoping to gain more support in Western Canada, particularly in Alberta. However, Alberta remains strongly conservative, and this strategy is unlikely to help them win the next election. The Liberals have continuously pushed policies that hurt businesses, weaken the economy, and fail to address the real concerns of Canadians. Choosing a leader from Edmonton does not change their overall approach, which has been out of touch with the needs of Western Canada.
At this critical time, Canada needs strong leadership focused on economic growth, border security, and business development. The Liberal government’s policies clash with Donald Trump’s administration in the U.S., making trade and international relations more difficult. In contrast, the Conservative Party is much better aligned with Trump’s policies and can ensure stronger cooperation on key issues. A Conservative government would restore stability, create jobs, and put Canadians first.
With growing dissatisfaction across the country, an early election is likely. Canadians are ready for change, and the only real solution is to elect a strong Conservative government. Pierre Poilievre has shown he understands the struggles of everyday Canadians and is ready to lead. I strongly believe he will be the next Prime Minister of Canada.
